At Congregation Kol Tikvah we know that children are our most precious resource. Our school, the Phylis J. Green ECC, was founded on the belief that the first few years of a child’s life provide the foundation for all later social and cognitive development as well as build self-esteem and a love for learning. We also know that our school is much more than just a place for children to learn and grow; it’s part of a Jewish community, a caring congregation and a loving family.

We’ve created a warm, positive and nurturing environment that enhances our children’s emotional, intellectual, social, physical, moral, creative and Judaic development. We recognize that every child is a unique individual and allow each child to experiment, explore, create, share and learn at his or her own pace. We maintain a small class size and excellent student/teacher ratio to ensure the beliefs we were founded on are maintained. As your children grow during their years at Kol Tikvah, they are building a foundation based on love, friendship and community. Walking through the doors will feel like coming home. We start at 12 months (walking) – 5 years of age.

We have an open door policy as we believe that the needs of the children are best served when the school and the family work together as a unit. Communication is a key to success for your child. As the children grow through their years at Kol Tikvah, they are building a foundation based on love, friendship and community. They walk through the doors and feel at home. Their connection to their Jewish heart will extend beyond preschool and well into the future as far as they want to take it.
