Lali was raised in Mevasseret Zion, a town near Jerusalem. Following high school Lali knew she wanted to take a strong role in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) becoming a training commander where she received accolades for her dedication and achievements during her service. Her father and both her brothers also served in high ranking IDF units.
After her service in the IDF, Lali forwent her acceptance to the Hebrew University and in her fashion decided to take the more challenging rout, leaving her friends and family in Israel to pursue higher education in the United States. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. While attending the University of Florida, Lali volunteered at the Hillel, taught Hebrew classes, and held leading volunteer roles in Jewish student committees organizing Jewish events and activities.
Following her graduation Lali looked to combine her education in finance with her strong connection to Jewish values and traditions. For the past 15 years, she did so successfully working in non for profit Jewish organizations and congregations, 9 of these years as an Executive Director, where she gained expertise in virtually all aspects of operations management, finance and accounting management, including financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and process improvement.
Lali enjoys practicing Pilates, dancing, music concerts and most of all being a full time mom to her two children, Shylee and Dylan and her fur baby, Leeby.
