The philosophy behind JMW is to lower the barrier to entry and allow families to pay for those things in which they want to participate, rather than treating everyone as if one size fits all.

WHAT IS JUDAISM MY WAY? In 2020, we re-imagined our engagement and membership structure with a fresh new offering, Judaism My Way. The philosophy behind JMW is to lower the barrier to entry and allow families to pay for those things in which they want to participate, rather than treating everyone as if one size fits all.

MEMBERSHIP VERSUS COMMITMENT – whats in a name:  Congregation Kol Tikvah strives to be a place that all reform Jews in Northwest Broward County can call a second home. Just like your primary residence, the others who call this community home strive to go beyond their engagement as a transactional commitment.  Your life is filled with various transactions: at the gas pump, the supermarket, the gym – your relationship with your spiritual home should equate to more than the impersonal swipe of a card.  We are moving away from “membership”, and moving towards “commitment” – we are a part of  “Am Yisrael” and a “kehillah Kedoshah” and as such our relationship with you is more than a series of one off interactions.  We are here for you at the highest of highs, the lowest of lows and everything in between.

PILLAR LEVEL COMMITMENT –  You care deeply and significantly about the Congregation Kol Tikvah Community, and wish to enhance the ability for us to “do more”.  Your tax deductible commitment demonstrates your commitment to the Jewish community and helps ensure that we are able to provide access to all services, programs and events for all individuals and families.  With a Pillar level commitment, you receive all that is included in our Sustainer Level, as well as additional enhanced benefits (reserved parking, ads in even journals, etc). As a Pillar, you get full voting rights.

SUSTAINER LEVEL COMMITMENT   Grants the individual/family access to all programs and events taking place at Congregation Kol TIkvah.  As a Sustainer, you get full voting rights.

SUPPORTER LEVEL COMMITMENT   A truly revolutionary concept, we know that everything which is offered within our walls appeals to everyone.  We want you to explore your Judaism, your way.  Through this level, you are able to commit to those items within our menu of programs and opportunities which you find most appealing, and support those efforts directly.  As a supporter, you get full voting rights.

UNDER 30 COMMITMENT –  A great “sustainer level” commitment for our community members who are just putting down roots in Northwest Broward County.  Whether you grew up here and returned home, or life brought you here, we’re happy to count you as part of our community!

AFFILIATE LEVEL COMMITMENT   An ideal opportunity for those who are hyper-focused on one specific program or project Kol Tikvah provides, this is a fantastic “first step” into building a relationship with the Congregation – particularly those who have never been part of a congregational community previously.  While you do not receive full voting rights within the congregation, you do receive the full benefit of the one Program/Auxiliary you commit to (Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Business Networking Group, 20s-30s/Young Jewish People, ARZA, Adult Education).

PHYLIS J GREEN ECC COMMITMENT –  For our families who have children in our Phylis J Green Early Childhood Program, you have the opportunity to enhance the Jewish lives of your entire family. Whereas your family committed to providing your child a rich, Jewish early childhood education, we have committed to ensuring you have the ability enhance and enrich your own lives as well with complimentary access to all that goes on at Kol Tikvah.
