Our Sacred Aging Initiative is pleased to welcome Rabbi Richard Address, the preeminent authority on sacred aging. Join us for 3 fabulous sessions, covering such issues as caregiving, Jewish approaches on health and wellness, and dealing with life’s challenges.

Our Scholar-in-Residence Weekend kicks off at Shabbat Services, Friday, January 6 at 7:30 p.m. Rabbi Address will speak on “The ‘Art’ of Caregiving.” Supported by a wealth of Jewish sacred texts, this talk will be a wake-up call to the challenges of caring for aging parents and spouses who, while blessed with greater longevity, may be confronted by problems of health, mobility, and dementia. It will provide insight into the pressures and implications of being in the club-sandwich generation – the reality of multi-generational caregiving.
