UPDATE ON HURRICANE IAN –OFFICES CLOSED 9/28-29/22

Dear Congregation Kol Tikvah Families,

L’Shanah Tovah!  It was nice seeing many of you at services this week. As we begin the New Year I want to give you the following information regarding the impending storm:

Based on the decision of Broward County Public Schools to cancel classes on Wednesday and Thursday due to the potential impact of Hurricane Ian, and in an abundance of caution, the entire Kol Tikvah campus will be closed on Wednesday, 9/28 and Thursday, 9/29 and all activities canceled. Our hope is that our campus will fully reopen on Friday, September 30 but reopening will depend on flooding and tropical winds as the storm comes ashore.

We will continue to communicate through these channels and on the website over the next few days as additional information becomes available regarding school classes and Temple activities for Friday and the weekend. We urge you to continue to monitor the storm and prepare as necessary, and we hope that you and your families remain safe!

The main temple line 954-346-7878 will be monitored during this period. If you have a clergy emergency instructions for reaching our Rabbi Boxman or Cantor Debbie Hafetz will be given when you call. Should you have trouble contacting us please call my cell 305-609-5225

We will continue to monitor the situation and we will pray for the safety of all people impacted by the storm.
